Dimitar Berbatov has moved into the Charles Forte Presidential Suite of the Lowry Hotel, while looking for a house in the Manchester area. I haven’t stayed there, but it seems a decent place. The features include a 180 degree rotatable large screen television, CD player, VCR, DVD and a baby grand piano(!). One possible problem is that all bedrooms and public areas in the Lowry Hotel are non-smoking.
According to the Daily Star, Berbatov will pay 42 000 GBP for twelve weeks, which seems a bit of a bargain since the official rate is 2 195 GBP/night. Maybe the hotel manager figured that the hotel would be mentioned in countless blogs.
